Ok, what the hell. I have an amazing GPA. I belong to the honor society and graduated with honors. I've done an externship with UofM. I'm BLS certified. I took the CMA test.

What the hell else do people want for them to hire me!?

job hunt, m.a.

You're still having trouble finding something? Have you put all of the above qualities in your cover letters and on your resume? Where are you looking?

Yes, they are all on my resume. I haven't sent a cover letter with my resume. I didn't even think to do that. I'm looking pretty much everywhere. I live in Novi and might be moving to Waterford so I haven't really set any boundaries. I've applied from Brighton to Novi to Utica.

A cover letter is a very good idea. You can customize them for each place you try, and it will show them that you want to work for THAT place in particular. Also, do you just send your resume, or do you hand deliver it? If you're lucky you might be able to put it in the hands of the right person, and shake their hand - it's about being memorable and breaking away from the clutter. Also, have you tried following up? I always get the e-mail address of the HR person and check to make sure they received your resume, then you just keep following up - it shows you are very interested. Some people even send cards after they submit their resume (at least in my field).
