Star Ocean 3
I'm spamming like hell today, since I haven't used LJ for ages.
Cut for a long Star Ocean rambling.
I've been playing Star Ocean 3 for the past few days, and I'm so disappointed that I failed to get the Albel/Fate ending. I got the solo ending instead >_<
Which means I have to restart the game all over again.
But since the game is really enjoyable, I don't really mind. And I missed so many Private Actions at the beginning anyway, so it'll be good to see them again.
But damn, I think I've been infected with the Albel/Fate love. Its really sweet and the Peterny Inn scene just sealed my love for the pair.
And Fate was so mean to Sophia in some of the later Private Actions. The Princess scene killed me, when he called her an idiot. Not suprisingly, Albel was the one who was the most happy when I picked that choice.
And cause I'm playing the Japanese version- Houshi Souchirou! Fate reminded me of Kira a lot. And Cliff reminds me of Mwu la Fraga. In fact Star Ocean just gives off Gundam Seed vibes to me.
Character wise, I loved most of them, except for Sophia, Souffle and Aldray. Them three just got on my nerves. But thank god, they weren't even in my party all through the first game disc, so I only had to deal with them for a while.
Oh, and Roger was annoying too, but then I never really used him.
Fate is the sweetest character in the whole damn game. Hes just adorable. I really loved his scenes with Meena and Nokia.
Nel is awesome, I really liked her voice, her hair and her personality. And boy was it obvious that she and Clair were a couple.
Maria amused me because she came off as quite bitchy to Sophia. I don't know why, but it seemed like everytime Sophia suggested something, she would always suggest the alternative.
I guess its because their personalities are so different. Sophia has her head in the clouds, whilst Maria is more down to earth. But I really liked Maria, she was a strict, but caring character.
I don't mind her with Fate, but I kinda feel sorry for Lieber who has a crush on her.
Cliff & Mirage- These two reminded me of Mwu and Ramius from GS a lot. Cliff as daddy and Mirage as mummy for Fate.
I loved them two together, and it was kinda sad that they had to leave each other at the end.
Albel- My favourite character in the whole game. How often do you see a guy in a skirt? And damn, was Albel sexy.
I saw the Crimsom Scorge scene, and that was when I feel in love with Albel. Hes so full of hatred to everyone, but deep down, the one he hates most is himself.
Which is why I think Albel/Fate works so well. The only one that Albel will respect is Fate, and the only one who understands him is Fate.
And Lucifer was really pretty. I never expected the final boss to be a bishounen!
