i've been gone for nearly 3 years and each time i return you never cease to amaze me with the woman you are becoming. oddly enough i have always seen quite a bit of myself in you, hence why i "adopted" you long ago as a sort of little sister. it sounds like we both hit rock bottom this winter ... at my worst point i ended up back on meds due to my on-going 10 year battle with depression (there's much more of course, but quite a long story ... however i'm sure i'll tell you about it sometime). anyway, i'm glad to know you are doing better now ... trust me each day everything does get easier. and never worry about changing because change can be such a wonderful thing, i know i have certainly done my share since i have left. however through every change you go through one thing will remain ... the fact that you have one of the most beautiful souls that i was lucky enough to discover when i was in high school.

well i'm off for now ... but i can't wait to see you at pageant! take care

I thought about it after I had written this and I had some sort of inclination - call it a hunch, I suppose - that when you came back we might have something else in common. Heehee I think I am a fortune teller. Just, you better come back for pageant and see everyone so I can show you prom pictures that you MISSED . . .

Sometimes, I only wonder if some of my friends think I am beautiful because I am so utterly convinced I'm not. Haha maybe one day I'll believe it myself.
