Okay, here via the daily snitch, and I can't believe I'm one of the first on the scene, but No one ever said that it would be this hard, by Kel, aka throughadoor. OotP through Remus.

Also, it's... prequel? Associate? Nobody said it was easy, by lisew. Remus comes back to teach at Hogwarts in year six. Written before HBP.

Both are S/R, and pretty angsty.

Sorry for the multiple recs, but these fics are seriously my ALL TIME favorites and definitely deserve recognition.

1. Lights Out by kphoebe
Rating: NC17
Ship: D/Hr
Summary: To me, this sets the standard for the best of what D/Hr has to offer- it is a beautiful and desperate love written exquisitely by kphoebe, who has also written a number of other fantastic stories in the HP realm (seriously- read everything she's written!).

2. 20 random facts about Harry Potter (as told by Sirius Black and Remus Lupin) by dramaphile
Rating: G
Ship: Gen
Summary: This piece is tender, funny, bittersweet, ominous and a must-read for any HP fan. In short- it will completely break your heart.

3. 50 ways, pt. II by crushw_eyeliner
Rating: Maybe PG-13?
Ship: Cedric/Cho
Summary: I LOVE Cedric and Cho. However, they are a lesser-known and certainly lesser-celebrated ship, and that certainly shouldn't be the case! Here crushw_eyeliner presents 50 random, wonderful moments between these two and shows the beauty of "what could have been." (Part I can also be found through the link provided.)

Flame and Shadow by Maya (NC-17 but it's not that explicit, more R). Ron/Pansy. You can't think of anything more wrong. Nor can they. This is The R/P fic and I always like reading it. Ron is great.

The things we did and didn't do by Kyra (G, maybe). Hermione, Ron and a maybe. More pre-shippy than anything. It's a wonderful vignette full of angst and hope and heartache. I love this fic.
