A/N: Yes, Speed is dead... in a way. This is the first CSI: Miami story I've posted, despite the fact that I've written plenty. Perhaps I will post them some day...maybe.

Oooh--LOVE! A sequel would be nice. A sequel drawing Eric into the loop, even as a potential food source for Speed would be even better *grins* (Depending on your premise towards vampires, if Speed needs to feed every couple of days, Ryan won't be able to do it all himself without suffering for it, you know?)
Anyhow, this was really well-written, and quite interesting. So thank you for writing it.

haha, thank you! And...hmmm, you do have a point there, don't you? We don't need Ryan fainting at work, do we?

I shall definitely take your idea into consideration... actually, consider it possibly in the works. :)

Lol. Although, that would be a great way for the team to find out Speed's alive, right? *grins*
Sorry, I love vampire fic (though hate Twilight with a passion), so I always love seeing what people come up with. It's a wonderful genre that allows for a lot of different points of view as to what vampires actually are/can be hurt by/can do.
I'll look forward to reading!

yeah, I have to agree. I never really got into Twilight either. I mean, I saw the first movie. The only part I liked was the square root of pi. I think that's what it was. Everyone else I know is totally obsessed. ><;

But yeah, I've always wanted to create my own type of vampire. Speed seemed the perfect victim to test out my theories, thus!

Now it seems I have to get busy, huh? ^^
