For those that haven't heard, Aspen Pearl Eskew was born August 14, 2011 at 12:01pm after 17 hours of grueling natural, drug-free labor. She was 8lbs, 20.5 inches, and I had a 2nd degree tear requiring 6 stitches. She is beautiful and I will try to get pictures up at some point.

And the details of the event have been documented, for later when she disappoints you, and you need a handy guilt trip. ;^b

Barba Wilson Clay is the LC my midwife had told me about. She dind't have a phone number for her handy. Hopefully she can help you work things out with Aspen's nursing.

Thanks! The other day I got her to latch on with no shield! But unfortunately I think she may have thrush - going to get it looked at today. Still having a ton of trouble with my supply too. :( Thanks for the rec!

Have you checked out all the kellymom tips for overactive supply? You might have to do numerous things to try and get the foremilk to slow down. It also takes a few days to know if something is working to up supply, or lower it. Plus, you need to be careful not to go from way too much milk to not enough. So tough, especially when you're hormonal from being postpartum. Hope things keep improving :)
