Star123 is one of my fave FP authors! She's a great writer and from what I've interacted with her, a really awesome person.

You know, it's funny. I started reading another of her stories before this - I was attracted because of the high number of reviews - and didn't make it past the first few paragraphs. I thought 2000 thousands reviews on this crap? are you kidding?

Then after reading Saving From Monkeys, I tried it again with a much different pespective and absolutely loved it.

I'm not going to lie, almost every story I've seen on FP, I've believed to be overrated. Her writing is more on the fluffier side, but she's good at what she does. I am a bit tired of the "girl and guy who've known each other their entire lives but really don't know each other" set up though. Which story did you think that about?

All valid points. Concerning the overation (is that a word?) of the stories, I probably have to agree with you to a certain existent. Much of this, I'm sure, comes from the fact that a very large percentage of the reviewers - and the writers for that matter - are teens. Many of which are simply looking for a fun storyline, and don't care overly much on how eloquently it's written (or edited ( ... )
