Goddamn motherfucking computer. Goddamn goddamn. I'm going to my parents' after work to get some cds I leant (lent?) them and try to restore my computer. I wish I could just by a new one.

But yes, "These Days" sounds wonderful. :)

And just a few weeks ago you said you'd hate to get a new computer to replace ole "Thundercat". I know how it is, though, I love my computers until they act all schizo.

Sigh... Octoberfest continues to be a misnomer... it's now September 18th. A saturday. Of course you are invited... but I can not attend, as I'm going out to a wedding in Ohio with Mary. Hopefully the fascist 5 year trampoline dance director will be there, though.

As for the house, my Mom wants to put it up for sale by mid September, which means I have to paint and clean stuff. She's running out of money and can't afford to maintain it. It has some leaks and plumming problems that have been a monetary syphon in recent years. And since she didn't get any money from Dad's life insurance (a long story, but suffice to say the owner of his company is married to a complete bitch), she wants to find a smaller place to live that she doesn't have to maintain. Nick's dad Ned was helping out with some fix-it things, but he hasn't been feeling well recently (he's over 70).
