I said that I wouldn't fall again, but a decade after the first time (and a new actor in the Todd role later), this soapy twosome has stoked my fangirl's little heart flame all over again. They're angsty. They're screwed up. They screw ME up. But I love them. I love their new legacy

Look at smexy Cass and his umbrella drink---*salutes him right back with my Pepsi* Poor Another World---it was gone way before its time. :( I'm SO hoping that OLTL isn't next. As the last surviving NY soap and hanging out near the bottom of the ratings race each week, rumors abound that it is next in line to be picked off.

Soaps are so awesome in all of their quirky craziness! They're not as good as they used to be, but I think they still deserve a place in the lineup.

Oh, PS: I'm super behind on the Carly and I know you said you were, too, but I heard that there was some sort of awesome 'trapped in an elevator with Vivan and flashing back to the whole buried alive thing' going on last week. I might have to jump back in all out of line and stuff and see what was going on there. ;)

Cass with his umbrella drink is from one of my favorite Cass/Frankie scenes! They've broken up (after Cass made the mistake of trying to get back with his previously presumed dead wife, Kathleen, and then realized he really loved Frankie most) and he asks the bartender for their "most obnoxious drink" and has one sent to Frankie too. It's just so their relationship that he basically tries to annoy her into taking him back! I adore them!

Another World did end way to soon and I remember being just crushed that it was going. I hate that so many soaps are following suit now. It just doesn't seem right. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you OLTL.

Yeah, I'm waaaayyy behind on Carly. I think more than a month now but I heard good things about this week too so maybe I'll join you in trying to catch up via YouTube. We'll have to chat when/if we do!

Thanks! I'm such a hit and miss icon maker. I tend to come out of a set with two I like because something happened accidentally, and the rest are jut...accidents, not in the best of ways. ;) I don't think that I'll ever really get the hang of it. All those years of being against computers in art are really having the last laugh on me.

The Closer! Woot! Onward, girlie. If you need Brenda, she's so there for you. You should totally snuggle with her and Sharon. ;)

The last time that WH13 had a marathon, I recorded the whole thing on dvd---only to lose the dvds before I got the chance to watch. :( I'm glad they'll be re-running the series beginning at the end of the month. I'm going to try my hardest to get on board then. :)

I'd recommend you download the pilot from iTunes (I think you can still get that free from there) before than since it looks like they're starting with the 3rd (2nd if you don't count the pilot as the 1st & 2nd eps) eps, Resonance. Don't know what other eps they're running after that. Chances are they'll run them out of order, knowing SyFy sometimes. LOL

I don't know these characters but I know a few others and must say my fav is Nick.. where the hell is he? Nothing against Oliver but I fraking loved Nick/Kyle. Nicholas Rodriguez is too awesome xDD.. miss him :)

I haven't completely picked up the majority of the stories going on right now, as my twosome have their own edited channel on youtube that I generally watch on because it makes it so much easier, but I caught some full episodes and some of the depth to Nick/Kyle/Fish around the holidays. I guess the last time I saw Nick was when it was revealed for the New Year that Oliver was right---that he was hoping to win Kyle for himself. Was that supposed to be the end of the line for his character, or is there more in the works for him?

OLTL seems to be doing this story fairly well---I'm proud of them for it! :)
