Ipod Nano or just Ipod

Apr 11, 2006 10:05

I can't seem to decide. I'm ready to break into the Apple world with everyother monkey.
But I can't decide on the super light yet easily breakable Ipod Nano (4gb) or the heavier and more durable with more storage for $50 more regular Ipod.

Does anyone suggest either over the other?

What to do?????????

I was browsing the latest posts on LJ and found your entry, so here are my two cents!

Although it greatly depends on how you're planning to use it, I think the regular iPod gives you more bang for your buck. It's not at all heavy and its perfect width makes it very comfortable to hold. Also, the storage factor! I wouldn't consider myself an audiophile and yet I've already got about 5-6 gigs of music/movies in my 4 month-old iPod. You'll definitely appreciate the extra space in the long haul. I found the Nano a tad tiny, and I didn't want to put myself through the nuisance of rummaging through a bag for the miniscule gadget.

I'm incredibly biased, but if I were you, I'd definitely go with the regular iPod.

Have a lovely day! :-)

I've heard the Nano still has a few bugs in it. Older may be better.
