*2 hours after the shows supposed to start* "I don't think there's gonna be a show tonight"
skafest was fun. Since the bands showed up like an hour late and they ended up never playing because the place was closed. So, we went across the street and ate dinner with the bands.
kidding. I was just wondering who would believe me. This is what really happened. We ended up getting there at 5:45. The show supposedly started at 6. There was no one there. So, Caitlin, Linds, Caitlin's lil sister, Caitlin's mother and I all went out to eat. We went back to the place at like 6:45. There ended up being people there. So, we got out of the car and talked to them. They had no idea what was going on, just like us. There was like 14 of us there. So Linds, Caitlin and I stayed there with them. Caitlin's mother and sister went to the mall. Let me see if I can remember all their names....it was Jess, Dana, Kim, Josh, Kristen, Jake, Ryan, Mike, Andy, Amanda, some other girl (I don't remember her name), Linds, Caitlin, and I. It was a fun night. we played the name game and ten fingers. We got into partners for no apparent reason. skanked to no music. I got hit on by a 6th grader. We kicked around a trash can lid. Waved at people in the middle of the street. Almost played duck duck goose a few times. Then Jess, Jake, Josh and the other girl had to leave. It was upsetting because we were all like family at that point.haha. Jess was cool and so was Josh. Jake was just creepy. So the rest of us kind of just sat there for a little bit. We lit a wendy's cup on fire and then noticed that some guy was wacthing us so half of us ran and the other half just walked. suspicious? maybe. We sat on the big concrete things and talked about good music and movies. And I talked about who I would go lesbian for? haha yup. I think the list ended up being Angelina Jolie, Marilyn Monroe, Patricia(the horrorpops) and Mille & Kamilla (the horropops). Then, we were gonna leave, but Caitlin's mom gave us the wrong number. So we had to stay. The others went and attempted to get food somewhere, but they were back within like 5 minutes. We all ventured over to the brewery. Some of us had food and then others got drinks. I felt really weird because it was a bunch of us and then the rest of the restaurant was filled with 40-some year olds. Then, Caitlin's mother called and we had to depart from our new friends. We exchanged phone numbers and e-mails so we can have a reunion. haha. cool cool people we met last night. Anyway, we convinced Caitlin's mother that we had dinner with the band. haha. It was really funny. On the way home, I became an old grampa that lost his leg in the civil war? I don't know. Well, I'm sad that skafest didn't happen. The whole night I was just waiting for people to jump out and yell "you've just been punked!" or something. I don't know, maybe it was just fate that we met these people. haha. But I just want to say that I had a great time with great people. Goodbye for now.
