Also--the main thing I wanted to hit in Kyoto was the Fushimi Inari Shrine, that Geisha district you talked about sounds awesome, and that one temple? Not sure about it, wasn't on my list of things to mention that I remember. The reason why I mentioned the pass is that if we're hopping all around Kyoto, it is TOTALLY the cheapest way to go. Seeing the old castle, yeah--that would be awesome, too.
As for Tokyo, yes--TDS (I still can't imagine a full day at a park, XD, but we'll see how I hold up) and Akihabara (with the Square Enix store) and possibly the Tower. If we're in town for New Years, yes we'll totally go to a shrine, but... <3 you know, there is a pretty kicking shrine in my town, too--I probably won't die of no shrines, but an old one in Tokyo sounds great and a lot of fun, too. Plus, New Years with friends? Totally perfect ( ... )

Oh, and hey, do you still have the e-mail for the Asakusa Hotel? We won't be staying there, but I wanted to see if they still had that info.
....I found out that I could order tickets for Disney at a convenience store, and so I did that today. Think of the hassle that would have saved last year!

Also, by "Asakusa Hotel," do you mean the Sakura Hostel where we stayed?
And YES! I wish I'd known that. :(

Yeah, that's the hostel I meant. :)
Really, right? ^.~
