I haven't been on the computer much recently. And I've liked it; I'm not going to lie. I'm also not going out half as much as normal. Like I think I stayed home maybe one weekend night the entire semester and now when I'm on break and have the opportunity to go out every night, I just have no desire to. and I haven't been wanting to see people ( Read more... )

christine marie if that is your middle name, you aren't cold, just burntout i think. you just have needed some time to chill and the break has given you that. it's not a bad thing to stay home and you will make up for it once school starts again. and you can feel. most definetly. you feel passion, love, admiration, loathing, scared, everything. do not worry about feeling and things you haven't done. you still have many many many years to do this stuff and next year you will get to go to college and everything magic happens at college. and we have until like the end of the month to have our books read and you will get it done if it kills you, i am sure of this.

That was a very nice post. I definitely identified with your feelings about pictures. That's why I want to take portraits more than any other type of picture. And I want to capture more than just good times, I want to capture all emotions. But for pictures of friends, ones of laughter and good times are the best to look over and reminisce about. One of my favorite things to do when I'm feeling, well actually when I'm feeling the way you're feeling, is to look over old family photos.

Eternal Sunshine was a pretty freaky movie but it had an excellent message. What I got was that it's better to go through relationships for the experience even if you know it's not going to last. The love that is shared is the most important thing.

as far as wishing you could capture emotion-I know what you mean. but I almost think it would be better if you could have a musical scrapbook or something. almost every memory I have has music playing the background and the music completes the scene enough for me to relive the emotion instead of just capture it. I dunno. but yah... pictures (especially ones of friends) are definitely amazing.
