I used to think people could change if you gave them enough encouragement, but now I realize people never change. They're always the same, inside. They just choose to make different decisions in different situations.

Sadly I seem to be making the same decisions. And now I'm all out of booze.

I hope Gintoki is alright.

can i cry now?, sober and pissed about it, more like a break to reality, shambara do not want, a lesson here for everyone, not laughing anymore, our samurai honor, kintoki wa doko da, looking at you takasugi, don't want to see it

Nee, you're that strange person I talked to before.

Are you alright?

I'm alright. It's just that I didn't try to stop something horrible from happening when I knew it would.

But thank you very much for your concern, miss!

...Well, you shouldn't feel bad. It's not as if one person can control everything~

I suppose that's true!

People can change, I know it.

But that means they can change back, too, doesn't it?

That's a good point but don't you think that if they change for the better, they'll stay that way?

I'm starting to think changing for the better isn't as absolute as I thought it was!

Change? Some people are lost causes. No matter how much you hope, pray, and encourage them to change.

canicrynow February 1 2008, 20:20:18 UTC
Maybe not lost causes, but it would be nice if it was easier to make people not do things they were going to regret.

theotokos February 1 2008, 20:21:17 UTC
That's impossible with some people if they're that far gone.

It's just that I didn't think he still had it in him.

Ah...not quite, Sakura-chan, but I don't think he's out of the woods, really. I haven't seen him come back home yet, so I'm a bit worried the police have him for...questioning.

I'm just a bit worried about Gintoki, is all. I'm...sure, or at least hoping he'll come home soon. He may have gotten in a bit of trouble with the police.

But if you can be happy, I think it would help a little!

I just can't understand why people like him take justice into their own hands.

With the way those poor people were killed...I'm going to guess someone from a place like your own is going to have a good clue who did that.

Unfortunately, Gintoki took matters into his own hands the other night. I should have tried to stop him from going, but I didn't think...
