Computers and Puppies

Ok...so I've tried both Norton and Avast (separately of course) and Spybot (which finds lots of tracking cookies but nothing else), but it seems something is causing my computer to freeze up periodically for several seconds before working again. AVG and adaware may be a good combo. AVG is a free virus scanner and adaware is a very good spyware killer.

A helpful thing to do might be to bring up task manager and take a snapshot of the window (print screen) when your computer is lagging up. Sort by CPU usage so highest is at the top.
