For the entirety of this semester, I've just been really freaked about about life. Most specifically, it just kinda dawned upon me that I can do absolutely anything I want with it. Having a specific end goal in mind makes what you're doing in the present all that much more bearable when it seems difficult, pointless and/or impractical. Ever since I figured out what I want out of my time in university, it's made the tough parts bearable. It makes me want to understand the difficult courses where my marks aren't as good as I'm used to. It makes me want to understand the relevance of what seems to be pointless/impractical material. Have it written out somewhere so that you can see it frequently. I have a specific fortune from a fortune cookie right next to my driver's license in my wallet. I can see it every day and remember why I'm doing what I'm doing ( ... )

"Come to jesus" is an expression, like when you sit down and face the facts, and make a necessary change for something. It's kinda like an epiphany.
