Oh, yes. Boy do I know. Ug. You couldn't have put it any better. I sneak popcorn a lot. Oh, yeah, and I chewed gum the other day...and ate candy tonight...

I'm to the point where I just don't care anymore. The way I see it, what other torture can be done to my teeth that hasn't already been done? And food gets caught in them, and they hurt like hell...and oh, I could go on and on.

Well written. That reminds me...I have to make an appointment with Dr. Torture for winter break. Groan...

I never needed braces and I'm glad for it now! My best friend had them, though. She hated it.

I hated the 2 1/2 years of having braces, but mine went crooked slightly when they were off, especially one / two teeth crowding together slightly but I have perfect top teeth so I have an amazing smile from that. I had *VERY* crooked teeth! The head braces were absolutely brutal.

I got braces later in life so no metal mouth for me when I was a teen. But imagine rubber bands flying out at a meeting? hahaha
