I'm not Catholic . . . or British(okay, I am at least part English on my father's side and we were Catholic until I was five), but I thought England's patron Saint was Saint George, of dragon-slaying fame?

I love your Snape. The tiny little halo just cracks me up.

England -- like most European countries -- has several Catholic patron saints. Thomas More (also patron of lawyers and politicians), Edmund the Martyr, Augustine of Canterbury, and yes, St. George (who probably never existed)... among others.

I didn't know you drewed! Dat's pretty good, yo.

Do you know why Catholic priests are celibate? Back in the day priests could marry, but when they died, the wives got their loot. The Catholic church decided that priests would not marry anymore so that the church would end up with the monies.

Thanks!:)

Ya, actually, I did know that. 14 years of Sacred Heart education will do that to you. XP

But Thomas More wasn't a priest. Just a very righteous lawyer.
