The idea actually come from an older drawing I did of a similar concept. But back then I only had Kirk and Spock and they wore totally different things. However, the general concept of them as RPG classes of Knight and Battle Mage is there. Then I basically just expanded upon this idea and included Bones (and the rest of the Enterprise crew actually, they just don't fit in the picture).

Drawing-wise, it's the same as all of my other drawings. It just took a lot longer because there are so many things. I use a program called Paint Tool SAI with my tablet and draws directly on the computer. It starts like any drawing, with a rough draft, then I line it and colour it. Items like Bones' casting circle I designed in photoshop first and then imported it into this draw after scaling/resizing/fixing the perspective.

BASICALLY IT'S JUST A LOT OF PATIENCE. :'DDDD
