howdy from Cedar Park. i took today off a while back so that i could go to the lake with my friends this weekend, but the trip got cancelled due to logistical things, so i'm here for a long 4 day weekend with just the dog. it's good that we're saving money on his daycare for the weekend but i don't love being totally alone for like 3.5 days.

Someday we will not live in a world where contractors (or, y'know, just about anyone else) feel the urge to ask women if they need a man's opinion before doing something. Yeesh.

The basement bathroom that got built this winter looks great, but I wish it weren't so cramped due to the constraints of where it is and what's around it. I wanted a big tub installed, and one of the contractors thought we could do that by expanding the walls a little bit, but the contractor the insurance company picked decided it was too tight between the furnace and the laundry stuff.

I really should find somewhere to take all the dogs camping. And I just figured out you're not camping someplace called Cedar Park with the dog. Never mind!
