I hate Vista!

So I finally got a new computer, which is good times, because it lets me play all the games my old computer whimpered at. The downside, however, is it shipped with Vista, which presents a host of problems. First, the security reminders are so goddamned annoying! Couldn't you use one for browsing and one for games? I guess it's bad for online games but with enough work you could probably fix the connection.

Vista just seems like a waste right now, I'm not picking it up until they make it not suck. You can't disable the security thing?

I'm actually looking at dual-booting my new computer with both Vista and XP so I can log into XP for internet browsing and such, and Vista for newer games.

You can sort of disable the security thing, but it'll still shadow your every movement and tell you what you just did. It's a huge waste of an OS since Microsoft's working on the next Windows to come out in '09. I keep saying it's like Vista is an open beta for the '09 version that they don't support and charge you 60 dollars for.
