Happy Holidays to all! :D  Yeah, I am still here reading LJ's. (I just don't post often) ;)

I'm a huge James Marsden devotee. He is a sweetheart, and a cutie. The following is Marsden answering why Superman Returns didn't do well. It's old, so nothing new.

I love his idea. I do. Superman is virtuous, that is why the Man of Steel has my heart and is ( Read more... )

My reason is plot wise. Also, the climax was lame. He didn't do much super saving at all. Biggest disappointment was Lois.
I liked Spacey as Lex, though.

I love James Marsden too :) I wasn't delighted with Superman returns either, but I have always been more Smallville fan than Superman(as a movie) :)

Why not love him! :D
Oh, really? That is interesting.

I always thought Superman was the best hero, although I had never watched the movies. Then Smallville caught my attention.

Aww, I love James Marsden! I'm actually a huge fan of the X-Men series and one of the reasons why I saw Superman Returns was because Brian Singer was directing it and JM was there too. I was a little disappointed that the movie didn't do well either, but I love that James called Superman virtuous. He's not like every other hero that has that kind of darkness he was talking about. <3

And yeah, when I first saw the film and saw Superman being a dad, I was like "wtf who thought up of THAT?" (I don't know if that ever happened in the comics, though.)
