a most enjoyable post!!
very resourceful with the walnuts. i have some ink grains i bought, just add water, but i love more "personal" things like what you've accomplished here. it's a lot like raising your own livestock to feed the family ... a more communal and appreciative twist.

What a luscious post. Love the walnut ink paint work. Those images of the women beginning with the one in the priest's robe are exceptionnal!

I LOVE Etta James! She comes around here once in a while.

<3 LOVE your new walnut girls! LOVELY NEW PAINTINGS! xo

The bamboo bicycle concept is fantastic + the "test drive" was great!

My dear Etta. I jigged electric right along w/Chuck Berry all the way through!
I was raised on opera, Etta, Andrews Sisters, Charlie Byrd, Hank Williams Sr., more.
All albums of my mother's were lost when their house flooded in Katrina. ::sighs::

I am enthralled by the spin dancing in the Gypsies of the Thar clip. May I share that?

I make my own black walnut staining ink it's such a wonderful color all you have to do is soak it in alcohol and put that in a mist bottle and go nuts with it.Golden Seal also makes a pretty color.
