Just finished SMU exams.

2 more weeks to CFA Level II!

Hey I will be starting to study CFA level I and registering for the June 08 exams...hopefully I will pass... And I will need your help..=)

And congrats on passing the CFA level I exams and good luck for the CFA level II exams!

Thanks! Why don't u take the Dec 07 session instead? Then if you pass, you can take the level 2 in June 08 and not waste time waiting a year! Think about it yeah? =)

no lah...cos I figured with what is happening in my life right now, I won't be able to prepare for Dec 07 exams in time. My bond will end in July 09. So I will take the CFA Level I in June 08, CFA Level II in June 09. So by the time I finish my bond, I will be ready to go. In a way this schedule is more timely. Morever, CFA Level III can only be attempted after 7 years of working experience in Finance Related jobs so I don't have to worry about clearing CFA Level III before my bond ends.

huh 7 years?! no lah! it only takes 4 years of finance-related jobs (plus the requisite passes at cfa of course) to be get certified!

where'd u get that 7-years notion from?
