HELL. I wish I could go with you...if I hauled ass down the coast, I could, but I probably won't be there until closer to the weekend.

Besides, last time I saw Beethoven's 9th was at the closing of the Prague Spring music festival in ought-two. Not to diss the amazing talent at the Hollywood Bowl, but that was flat-out the best 9th I've ever seen. I still wake up nights weeping for joy. Anything less would cloud the experience.

Yeah, something tells me that the Hollywood Bowl won't compare with the Prague Philharmonic... but the drive is shorter...

It is still up for grabs, it's this Tuesday at 8, but we'd need to be there before that and get up to Hollywood, so keep that in mind.
It would be very cool if you could make it.
