Sarah didn't travel to other worlds on a regular basis, but she wanted to get some nice flowers for her mom on Valentine's Day and generally off-world stuff wound up costing less. The advertizements seemes promising enough, and once she'd found the portal and gotten Tsuri to stay huddled in the hood of her jacket it was just a matter of finding

Saloma steps out of the back room, wiping some potting soil from her hands and smiling brightly at her new patron. "Greetings! How may I help you, miss?"

Sarah starts fiddling with her fingers a little. "Um, I saw your advertizements in the Nexus...I'm looking for some flowers for my mom?" Saloma might take notice of a small green fire lizard head poking out of Sarah's hood, but Tsuri's not making any trouble yet.

Saloma had been preparing for what Nexus oddities might come through due to her little experiment in advertizing. Should any other patrons become curious about Tsuri she figured she would explain the little creature away as an animatronic companion. She tilted her head and smiled at the little fire lizard before adressing Sarah's flower needs.

"We have some nice plum blossom arrangements, very good for representing the respectful relationships between age and youth as well as the coming of spring. I've also just gotten in some fresh sunflowers that are perfect for showing love and respect and lend a wonderful cheerfulness to a room. There are also catteya orchids, perfect for an elegant lady, not to mention the old standbys of roses or carnations." Saloma walked as she talked, indicating each flower's position in the shop as she rattled them off. "Is there anything that appeals to you?"

((In looking through the list of flowers used in Japan I came across one called a rape blossome. o_O Just thought I'd share.

Tsuri chirps in greeting to Saloma, and Sarah grins a little before listening to the woman's suggestions. "Hmm...the orchids look nice. I know she likes carnations too, but I'd like to get her something different." She bites her knuckle a little, glancing to Saloma. "What do you think?"

Saloma's brow creases in sympathy. "Oh my, that does sound awfully trying. I'm glad you do have the Nexus at your disposal, though, and can get what little extra time you do have. I only hope that you'll be able to spend more time with him soon." Another little sip of tea before she tries to turn the conversation in a slightly more upbeat direction. "Did you find the extra convenience of Nexus meetings after or before you met?"

Sarah nearly chokes trying to contain a laugh as she takes a sip of the tea, coughing a little bit before replying and smiling embarassedly. "After, definitely after. We would never have met if I hadn't found the Nexus."

Oh dear, Saloma hadn't meant to cause Sarah to sporfle her tea. She laughs sheepishly before responding.

"A Nexus romance, then? That does sound exciting, though I imagine they would be harder to balance than most."

Saloma blinks as something occurs to her. "And I just now realized that I've been asking personal questions before even introducing myself or asking your own name. Forgive my rudeness, I'm Saloma." She bows as well as she can while sitting down which... is really not much more than a bobbing of the head.

"It is, but I manage well enough. It's a blessing just to be with him, so I'm not about to complain."

Sarah shakes her head. "I don't mind at all, and my name's Sarah." She returns the somewhat awkward bow. "It's very nice to meet you."

Saloma chuckled at that. "I see that Netto-kun wasn't the only one to go through that, though you seem to have taken it better than he implied he did."

Sarah giggles. "Well, he didn't get LOLed on purpose."

"Oh, you purposely got LOL'D into a cat, then?"

"Yeah. It was kind of a spur of the moment thing, since Netto had the ice cream that did it and my munI was exceptionally bored at the time."
