I thought The Eraser had two or three good songs and the rest were like if Amnesiac had no soul.

hmm, I really enjoyed most of them, particularly the eraser, analyse, the clock, and it rained all night, and harrowdown hill. The rest were still all pretty spiffy though. How did you see it as amnesiac with no soul?

I hoped for Thom Yorke to go more the direction that he was going with "I Want None of This" but I think he has been far too indulgent with the sampler beats in this and has somewhat deserted the songwriting aspect. I like "Harrowdown Hill" a lot too, but I think that's because it has Jonny's contributions.

mmm, well I suppose thom's role has traditionally been more singer and songwriter-ey, with jonny being all about the beeps and the bops. I assume this is thoms opportunity to really play around and see where he can take them, which would explain why the songwriting isn't so tip-top. But its still quite good, its not a radiohead album but it doesn't really try to be. (sure it sounds awefully like them, but it doesn't seem to have that epic external sensation to it that a lot of radioheads stuff does, its very much a thom complaining about stuff record).

i watched order in the house, and beazly was being slammed by howard, it gets so disheartening.
Why are we standing up for this when the economic words come accross and howard gets all uppity.
