Holy Hannah, what is happening in Quebec?! The ADQ and CAQ are merging, Gilles Duceppe has officially counted himself out of the PQ leadership race to replace Marois (although this would not be the first time M. More than a few Quebec voters expressed buyer's remorse shortly after the May 2 election, suddenly realizing that they had elected a bunch of candidates who were total unknowns. How will that affect their behaviour in the next provincial election? Will they decide to find out at least a little about the person they're voting for? Or will they still vote for the party and/or leader, without bothering to check on the person representing it and/or him/her?

The buyer's remorse hypothesis is at odds with federal polling: the NDP have declined in Quebec, but it's been gentle and slight (and not in the Bloc's favour) rather than the sort of catastrophic, COME BACK BABY, LET'S STAY TOGETHER heartbreak some commentators seem to think it is ( ... )

THATS ME! Although I did try to make a donation to the new (old) Conservatives of Quebec that (re)reopened last week, but their website donation page was a PDF you had to print out and mail like some sort of fucking caveman.
