[Rebecca is running on the beach. There's a fine sheen of sweat covering her skin and her hair is pulled back in a ponytail. An ipod is in a band on her arm but the earbuds dangle free. She stops, leans over, hands on her knees and breathes for a moment before she raises her voice to yell at the ocean. She's still slightly breathless]

Running is better than sitting. It makes me feel like I've got a chance at outrunning it...or something. Besides I'm used to having very little sleep. I guess I'm somewhat of an insomniac.

They're doing a good job today. Even the ocean is making that noise.

It only lasts until midnight. It's bearable for a day.

Anything is bearable for a set amount of time but that doesn't mean I enjoy it or I don't want to throttle everything that makes this noise. Are you hearing it?
