My cat suddenly and unexpectedly had a rapid decline in health over the past few days. We made the decision to put her to sleep so she wouldn't have to suffer unnecessarily, and I am suddenly lost without my constant companion of 13 years. So, I'm extending my hiatus for Nodame, Makino, and Chuck until I'm a little more emotionally stable.

I am so sorry. And -- I know exactly what you're going through and how you keep expecting that baby girl to be right there waiting for you, I-I keep looking for mine. She was sixteen when she died, right after Christmas.
