I realize that I have taken a long break from LJ. I had kept a list of things I did each day so that I could catch up on LJ but that list kept getting longer and longer and, thus, more and more overwhelming

I think the anticipatory grief of the week or so leading up to an angelversary is always so much worse than the day itself. At least it is for me.

You know you are never going to forget Janell. There won't be a day you don't remember and miss her - let alone on her special days. I hope that everyone remembers with you as you hope they will. You know that if it weren't for you and Janell, I would never have had the support I needed to grieve as I needed to. She has touched my life.

Janell will always be in our hearts. It is a sweet pain that we remember her, so tiny and perfect. I remember looking around the hospital room thinking about how close we had all become because of one innocent little angel. She made a huge and lasting impression that left us all a little different and much more aware of how precious life is. Love to you and Ethan on this painful day.
