Long day

 It seems like today was such a long day. I was running errands with both kids all morning, at the mall with friends all afternoon, cooking all evening and then having my feelings seriously hurt by Phoenix not eating dinner

It's been a while since I've done an inventory. Maybe I should do that soon. If you want we can work on menu planning together. I know you are mostly vegetarian / vegan where as I'm not but I'm sure we can help each other come up with ideas and keep our butts on track. In any case, good luck with the meal planning and all that. I am sure you'll succeed!

I know we talked earlier about feelings regarding new babies, I hope it gets easier for you. I know that you already love this niece so the rest of it will fall into place I am sure.

Sounds like you need to have a heart-to-heart with Zoe. You know, she may be having some emotions too being that she's just brought a new baby home and her mom isn't around. Maybe she'd like your support more than you think.

I completely agree. It was emotional for her sisters and dad also. There were lots of tears in the waiting room. I'm just going to try and be around but give them space until Travis goes back to work, then I'm going to try and be around more. Isla's only a few days old, Zoë probably has so many emotions running through her... she's probably not ready for a heart-to-heart. But, that's why it's nice that I have a blog to vent with! :)

I think things will be great once everything settles down. A new baby is a big change for any family. Loss makes it harder, I know. Janell's loss and her mom's too. :hugs:
