I had my hair cut

Nov 19, 2005 16:03

After literally years of trying to grow my hair long(ish), I finally managed it this spring/summer! Yay, go me! Well, yay, go me until the radio active iodine kicked in and depleted my thyroid and it all started to fall out. Still, I know those who have had worse hair falling outs than I, mine is now very fine and very thin but it covers my head ( Read more... )

:D Short dark hair is my hairstyle scheduled for when I reach 40. (And then when I reach 55 I'm going to have it long and dye it very pale blonde - and then at 70 it's going to be down to my ankles, white and I'm going to dress up like a mad hippy and be a fortune-teller).

*grin*

And at two million and almost one year old? What's on the schedule then? (I'm hoping I'm hip and happening here - which that phrase has just proved that I'm not, no doubt!)

Long hair ceases to suit most woman past 'a certain age'!!

Well that's just ridiculous and totally ruins my plan to be a crazy old lady with a gray braid down to my ass with daisies stuck in it (the braid, not my ass), riding around on my bike with a basket full of kittens singing Led Zeppelin at the top of my lungs. Don't kill my dream.

Very wise - if you have daisies in your ass where will you put the peacock feathers?

Two million and one totally deserves hair so long it has to be braided, embroiled and carried on a trolley.

My sympathy for the hair loosing - I currently started to loose ridiculous amounts as well (well, ridiculous for anyone who is completely healthy, fuck!). I say, let´s shave it almost all and leave one very, very thin braid ala Klara Iss in Mists of Avalon, because dude, is she cool :)

Oooooh, it might be quite fun to have a trolley. I wouldn't need to carry anything then and I could have some amazingly gorgeous hunk to push the trolley for me. I think you're onto something!

Razors to the fore!

Oh god. How cames I didn´t think about the amazingly gorgeous hunk?
*searches for candidates*
(do you think Johny Depp might be free? I know, not so much of a hunk, but still...)

It´s a deal. *sharpens scissors*

Ooh, Gill in a bob. Planning to wear anything else short as well?

Haha! If I wore my clothes like my hair no-one would want to look at me. THere'd be an awful lot of netting involved, so perhaps chilly too!

Pix!

I totally love short hair. It's especially good for fine hair like mine which always looked shite when it got longer.
