Surely you can phone NHS direct or something? They can advise you what to do. Or is there a drop-in clinic somewhere?

I cannot believe I have to mother you! Find the emergency doctors tomorrow and go to them! I don't care how scary they are, swelling is very bad.

That is distressing! Ideally, I would suggest capturing the critter, but that would require another trip to London. As well as a pheromone-based bio-weapon so it can be lured back to its own prey. On second thought just concentrate on the doctor, and best of luck with the diagnosis.
