Try this page - the main routemap is fine for outside the centre, but doesn't have much detail on routes through the centre, which are often weird. The free circle map is here. And bear in mind it's all messed up at the moment anyway because of the St Andrews Street closure.

Ooh, thank you! In a way it wasn't exactly what I was looking for, and yet now I realise it contains information I should have been looking for, if you know what I mean.

http://www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/transport/around/buses/busroutes.htm has overview maps. For timetables and maps where you know the individual route numbers, look at the bus companies' own sites, e.g. http://www.stagecoachbus.com/ (Find A Timetable - location is Cambridge).

Thank you, that's great.

The Stagecoach site looks very useful, but at the moment it's not letting me view the maps/timetables - not sure why, but I'll try again later.

Try this one:

http://www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/transport/around/buses/busroutes.htm

Separate maps for city centre, city and county.

NB that St Andrews street has a big hole in it at the moment and the bus routes have all been screwed up to avoid it.

Thank you! Those are great.

I hadn't heard about the hole in St Andrews St until today - I guess I don't spend enough time on that side of town! But it must be playing havoc with the timetables.

My husband came across this real-time info on Cambridgeshire buses last night - "find your bus stop using a map" looks good (and uses Google Maps).
