I just finished watching Nodame Cantabile episodes 1-9.  It's an anime drama happening in a music conservatory where the main characters are Nodame (a pianist), Chiaki (pianist/violinist/conductor), Mine (violinist), and Masumi (timpanist).  They're all around my age and remind me so much of my summer experiences at the International Music Camp in ( Read more... )

There’s the saxophone’s smooth silk scarf wafting,

The slapped bass pebble into a pond plopping,

And the piano’s smooth and cool granite harmonies

transitioning with grace in all the same keys.

The audience is in a dancing frenzy

What? It’s over, oh no!

Teehee, I knew about the new punk record label Rock-It records, which claims to be more punk than Plan-It-X records (Against me!
