Tonsils

does anyone know if people still get their tonsils removed? I don´t think so, but I´m not sure. My tonsils are all swollen and hurt. Whenever I swallow, it hurts even more. I hve been sick for a week but the tonsil thing just became a problem. We finally looked in with a flashlight and they are HUGE. I have had a reoccuring fever for five days

yeah, people still get their tonsils removed a lot. you might have to if they're swollen like that. but you get to eat icecream.

They actaully DO get them removed? NO!!! I NEED my tonsils for... for... well, who actually knows what they do, but for whatever it is that they do!

but lots of ice cream... yummm....

no, you don't need them
it's one of those things that you don't need anymore like your appendix. ice cream is good...i say get rid of them if they really hurt. my mom did.
