Maybe that's a piece of general pro-blogging advice (and look where it takes you!) , but in this case that's not fair.
If it took me hours because I had writer's block, perhaps you advice would be fair, but that's not what happened here.
It took me hours because I had to do some research, craft and re-craft the wording, capture and edit the images, realise the images weren't clear and create some more, change my mind and re-craft the words.
That is ignoring the technical aspects, like updating PhotoShop, re-installing WordPress, deciding that the theme didn't handle the pictures in the article, understand the nextpage tag, and re-writing to take advantage of it, etc. etc.
