The consort and I have been cohabiting quite happily together for 14 years now, but we finally had enough accumulation of reasons to do so that we've decided to get married. We kicked the idea around for a while, but at this point we've told the state and told my family, so it's official. We're getting married on October 27

having done this twice --once the full out fru fru big wedding blah blah blah and one the intimate family gathering with a few friends, a couple of sandwich trays (We did do a cake because that's a tradition I LIKE) I pick the second one. a few people. As little fuss as possible. I put my wedding on in about six weeks total, as you know. You can be excited without going crazy over things, honest... so be excited :)
