There's a shiny bit of metal on my hand, ditto on the Husband. Family and good friends have witnessed vows and been fed. The deed is done -- we are married

well--i will say we had a wonderful time. It is a wonderful thing having a small wedding where people actually can talk to everybody and talk to the happy couple and enjoy themselves. The food was marvelous--And do you know the type of cakes you had for your cake and coffee afterwards are traditional types of cakes for weddings in the 18th century :) By the way -- loved the fruit cake.

Thank you, I'll tell Mom you liked it. It's an ancient family recipe. By which I mean probably my Aunt Shirley clipped it from a magazine in the 1950s.

It's pretty good the next day, too.
