I've always heard "real men rush in for the attack." Well, from the people I respected, anyway.

Sounds like a very stupid saying. If you charge in blindly you'll just get yourself killed.

But fine, get into the fray - just do it smartly. Know where your enemies are, and keep your defenses up rather than going in an all out assault. If they dodge too well, try to predict where they're going to move and strike there.

These are just the basics. I can't believe I have to explain them. Reminds me of some of my times with Subaru, really...

You would be surprised at how good people get at dodging. But you can't be doing that badly in the sims.

OK think about this. Unless you're firing a laser or firing at close range, your shot is going to take some time to get to what you're shooting at, right?

Well, take this in stride first. Being the point during an attack is hard, believe it I know. You need proper equipment for it to work out.

What have you been working with in the sims?

You know, standard stuff. Beam rifle, railgun, that kind of thing.

I have better luck with the Boost Hammer, though. It's pretty cool!

Being the point is hard work, believe me I know. You shouldn't be going for the "standard stuff" at all, you should be going for stuff that doesn't slow you down.

But hey, that hammer thing sounds like it's a step in the right direction!
