Update: Clancy

On September 29, I had my beloved cat Clancy put to sleep. It was a very hard decision, I guess they always are, aren't they. The vet cried nearly as much as I did. He was popular at the vet's office. One visit, he purred so loudly that the vet couldn't hear his heart. She said that doesn't happen very often.

Sorry to hear about your loss. While my time with him was short, I definitely remember him being a good cat in more ways than one.

How good of you to be able to make the decision before making him go through a lot of suffering. (As so many of us have selfishly done, and then later realized we should have made the decision months earlier.)

I never got to meet Clancy, but I am very, very sympathetic for your loss. It just leaves a hole in your life and your heart when your daily companion has to leave you. In general, I'm very sorry to hear this, and I send you all kinds of good wishes.
