So... Doris Day isn't dead?

I didn't know that. And I found out by suggesting that she was to her niece (well, Doris Day was her great-aunt) when she asked why a bio was published on her full of lies. She was already upset -- I don't think what I said helped ( Read more... )

I wondered why I hadn't seen Fearne Cotton's beady little eyes for a while. Thank god you took her off of our hands. You can keep Ant and Dec as well, if you don't mind. :-)

She does Last Comic Standing, or something like that. I forget what it was, but it was something with a comedian in a contest. My husband pointed it out to me and I was just... stunned. Dude, Fearne Cotton doesn't deserve a career, let alone an international one. Urgh. Between her, Ant and Dec... I just cannot escape the British dirge. I come here and they follow me!

(The influx of British TV hosts is insane. I think with the amount of reality TV popping up--which could easily be attributed to the British anyway--we are getting the hosts from the UK since the famous host culture is just a bit more robust there. As much as I adore her on So You Think You Can Dance, I have to blame Cat Deeley for setting this precedent. She did a good job and was well liked (I have to admit that I like her loads now -- I used to think I didn't, but I realised she was tainted by Ant and Dec) that they are getting more hosts from the UK. I mean, we even had Denise Van Outen at one point. I'd take her over Fearne Cotton though.)

She isn't dead? That's the best news I've had in a while. I love Doris Day!

As for Ant and Dec, we've had them long enough so it's your turn now. When you've finished with them, parcel them up and send them onto the Aussies - it's only fair to spread the misery and they DID inflict Michael Barrymore on us.

If I ever encounter her niece again, I shall let her know.

As for Ant and Dec, well, I would like to ship them to the Aussies as soon as possible. Tonight sounds about right. I mean, they have inflicted enough pain on the British already.

However, Fearne Cotton is just unforgivable. She should've never been let out of her BBC Cage.

She was shopping at my store? I was talking to her about books and helping her, and then... it came up. She was enquiring about the latest Doris Day biography since she was offended by it, and asked how did they get away with such a thing. I said maybe Doris Day isn't around to fight it -- and well, she is, as her niece let me know. Oops. So yeah.

Hey! I sent you a text to see if my phone does send texts now; but in this case it's more like testing to see if your phone will receive texts. ;)
