I have been rather homesick for London the past couple weeks. Part of me always misses London, but these feelings have been quite close to the surface. It's not a I'm-so-homesick-I-cry feeling (which, believe me, I have had), just a feeling that I miss it and am in the wrong place.

I blame the heat. It was freakin' hot this week.

I get homesick too... and I was only there for a year!

But I thought you two were going to go back to the UK after Paul's residency was done?

Yeah, we plan on it after he gets citizenship, but that is still two years down the line. Knowing that doesn't stop the homesickness. :(

You're doomed I think to always feel homesick, no matter which side of the Atlantic you're residing on. Doomed!

I am. I need to be rich so I can have a place in both and work sparingly.
