Never watch the movie "Kids". It is so fucked up and frustrating that like...ugh. It was made in the 90's and it's about these teens in New York who constantly are high and/or drunk. I've seen a clip from it and yes, it is made of stupid.

That movie was HUGELY influential when it came out.

It's meant to be depressing, and slice-of-life-ish. I haven't seen it in a long ass time. But people said that it was one of the first films to come out that accurately documented teenage life the way it was at the time.

I agree. There's a difference in what types of films are influential and I guess this one just did NOT appeal to me...
