So, tests went well, good start to the semester. Bad start to this week. I was leaving work on Monday, on my bike, and a fucking Explorer HITS ME. He tried to get passed me and cut it just a little too close and clipped me with his mirror and I do a lovely skid on the friendly road. I've been hit by a car before. It's not fun.
To add insult, they wrote me a ticket for "failing to yield to traffic." They tore it up, but that's an idiotic thing that cops do.
I flew up in the air and broke my arm. That really sucked. What sucked worse was having everyone in my school making stupid jokes about how I hit a parked car. It sounds like you sort of lucked out, in comparison. I had my arm in a sling for a few months. Terrible.
I'm not sure why you couldn't buy gauze at a store (if that's all you need from the hospital, you'd be better off getting it from the store-they charge twice as much at the hospital), but there's a lot I don't understand. I'm not sure what that Dengue Fever reference is about, either.
