Timeline: Post Minagoroshi-hen
Canon Resource Links: Wiki 1 and Wiki 2

Affiliation: Trainer

Personality:

When you first look at Satoko, she is very energetic and mischievous. In the Game Club, the main rule is to 'win anyway as possible'. She keeps high spirit like in the games as she tries to pull any strings to have the game in her favor. Her main strategy is setting up traps, especially on her friend, Keiichi. She is given the title as the 'trap master'. When Satoko becomes highly confident, she will turn bratty mainly after someone falls into her trap. She loves to pick on Keiichi mainly because he seems as a worthy rival. When she is told to do something she acts in a brat and selfish manner. Satoko is used to watching out for herself.

Satoko wasn't always energetic in the past, she depended on her brother to watch over her. After her brother disappeared, it felt as if the town was against her. One person turned to her and that was Rika. Now that you have two orphan girls living under the same roof, Satoko had to pull her own weight to help and support Rika. This is when Satoko's independence grew. Not only she would help out with the house, she would also watch over Rika just as Rika did the same. She even used her traps for security around the home to keep them both safe. She hates to feel hopeless. When she noticed Rika's behavior changed during the Yakusamashi-hen [Disaster Awakening Chapter], Satoko asked. Rika pushed Satoko away from it. That made Satoko observe Rika from a distance. Satoko's suspicion grew and worried by Rika's behavior and fear. Satoko could only watch from a distance and wonder what could a small girl do to help. Then it was time to take matters to her own hands. Satoko would lie, lay traps, almost anything to watch over her friend. Rika's pain was Satoko's pain.

Satoko has more of a bond as a sibling than with a parent. Because of that, she looks up to Keiichi and Shion as older siblings. When she was worried about Keiichi being alone, Satoko came over and made dinner for him. Because Keiichi watches over her sometimes, Satoko looks up to him as an older brother. The same with Shion, she looks up to her as an older sister. Shion would go out of her way to prepare lunch for Satoko, especially the foods she dislike. What's interesting is, they don't raise their voice to her and that's why they both have Satoko's trust. Satoko doesn't have any experiences of parental bonding because her relationship with them in the past. Instead she had her older brother with her and adapted to that. Satoko felt she could trust older kids who are close to friends with her and watch her as a small sister in a way. Plus, she also gets some attention like any little girl would like.

Strengths/Weaknesses:

Strength:
-Trapmaster; sneaky and cunning, she can predict a person's move to fall successfully into her trap.
-She tries to make effort to take care of herself and pull her own weight.
-Staying strong; Satoko does her best to keep hope alive. One of them is waiting for her older to return. Giving up on his return is like giving up on life.

First Person Sample:

What some joke. That woman, whoever she is, is terrible in impersonation. She should get her facts straight before hand. My mom's hair is way shorter than that, and lighter.

What's up with this town anyway? --And the music, where is it coming from? There has to be a trick to this.

[Thump, thump. Someone's poking the Pokegear.]

... It's not coming from here. Okay, you got me. Where is it coming from?

Third Person Sample:

When the sun came down, Satoko decided that would be the time. The time to find what lurked at night. Some people spoke some pokemon preferred to come out at night. In a battle, one tactic is to attack when your enemy least suspect it. Night time proved to be the calm time, perfect to hide in the surrounding. With that thought in mind, Satoko set out on a mission to find out. Teddiursa would pick up the scent of something nearby. As a Trapmaster, Satoko could locate a trap and disarm it. That is, if a pokemon knew how to trap.

After an hour, her search came to an end when she spotted a thin web. Satoko knelled down to inspect the web. Who would of thought that thin web could be sturdy. Then she spotted something small to the side of the web, a Spinarak. Satoko grinned revealing her tiny fang.

Okay, it was game time. Satoko jumped back and pointed to where the pokemon hid. "Okay Teddiura, let's catch him!" Satoko commanded her pokemon. Without hesitation, Teddiura did as told and leaped to the battle. That pokemon would be useful to advance her traps. It was the perfect Trapmaster's pokemon. It was time to show this pokemon what a real Trapmaster is capable of.

"Let's grab his attention. Fake Tears!" With that command, Teddiura's eyes began to water. Those genuine tears flowed, the perfect distraction. When the Spinarak caught the attention, it responded with a String Shot. Ha, Satoko's eyes leered with determination. She saw that move from a mile away. Satoko threw her arm down then shouted, "jump away Teddiura!"

Teddiursa did so to avoid the incoming attack. Satoko shouted again, "now tear that web with your Scratch!" Teddiursa did so and lunge to the web with it's claw. As it tore the web off, the spider-pokemon fell helplessly off from where it hung. Now for the final touch, Satoko threw her pokeball to the fallen spider. It was time for this battle to end, and for the victor to rise.
