Yes, I did! [Sawako grins, still trying to pet the Hoppip, which absolutely refuses to let her lay a hand on it.] It's adorable, but I'm afraid it doesn't seem to be happy about being caught.

That's a relief. [Sawako gives a nod at the last part.] Yes, I am. I was thinking about naming it after a friend back home, but I'm not sure that they'd like having a pokemon named after them.

I usually just name plant type monsters after plants. Like... Clover or Nutmeg or Daphne.

Oh, I got one of those too. Though mine hatched from an egg.

[It's fully evolved into Jumpluff now since that was back in July, but he lets it out of the ball. In contrast, his jumpluff is so cheerful it could make your teeth ache.]

Mine's named Pip.

Oh, that would make sense! Although I don't think Maru-chan liked me much at first either, even though he came from an egg. But then, animals in general have always been afraid of me for some reason.
