YAYYY!!!! Way to go! *huggs* That is awesome Hannie! :D I remember I was shocked after getting my AS Level results back - I got 5 A's too *hee* *high fives you* - especially since I knew I didn't do as much work as some of my friends (and instead lounged around watching OTH, I kid you not) but YAY! - I will give you some advice though not to be a slacker in A2 Levels! *lol* I kind of ended up doing even less work in my last year of school than Year 12 and I suppose I did deserve to slack off since I never had in all my years of schooling but I probably should have been wiser and 'rebelled' much earlier when it didn't really matter LOL. I did still get all A's overall though since I didn't do that badly in A2 and my scores were so high in AS - but don't be like me! *lol*
That would be so cool if you went to Edinburgh! I love that city; it's where my sister went to uni and she lives there now so I visit her a lot.
haha youre so smart! *highfive!* and i really hope too that i work this year :\ though ive said that the past three years and it really hasnt worked. i think the only way i could work would be if i got rid of my laptop. but there is no chance in hell im doing that :]
and i LOVE edinburgh too, ugh, i hate making decisions. which im really gonna have to work on if i want to be successful haha.
YAYYY! well done to you tooo! you sound the same as me, although im trying to tell myself to WORK next year haha.
and i did french, spanish, history and maths (and gen studs.) and im going to drop history. wayyy too much work for someone as lazy as me, specially with the personal study erghh.
and im sorry, i forgot, which are you taking/dropping? or are you keeping them all on? myy teachers are going to be tryingg to get m e to do all of them im sure, but a la jamie scott of OTH im gonna say
You're such a fucking genius Hanners. Thats seriously amazing. And I don't even have any idea what these AS levels are that you speak of. But 5 A's sounds pretty fantastic. ILY.
I've already told you how uber proud I am of you, but I'll gladly tell you again =).
I'm so, so proud of you!
And, i've already spoken to you about universities, so you know which one i'd go for *lol*, since i'm biased. BUT i'm sure both of those are awesome schools. When do you find out if you've gotten in/when do you have to accept a place?
AAND umm, i think i have to get my form in by january though i want to get it in earlier and then they give me offers. usually saying like "if you get ABB youre in!" i have no idea about any of the other stuff right now haha, im hoping they teach us that this year! otherwise, ill know for sure where im going next results day, wooo!
umm lets see if i can explain. basically, in the years in england that are corresponding to freshman/sophomore years in the US, we do gcses, exams that are taken at the end of sophomore year.
thenn in junior/senior years were studying for "a levels". but now, suckily, instead of taking all the exams at the end of senior year, we take "a.s levels" at the end of junior, which are like, half an a level. and they are what colleges look at when choosing applicants, i think. hmm, i think thats the only way to explain, i hope it kinda makes sense! *hugg*
You're welcome! And I'm sure you'll have no problem getting in, hehe (;
Ahh, okay, I've got it. That's so many important testss! *thuds* Ooh, those grades should definitely guarantee a good college, then, yeah?! :D Thanks for explaininggg! *hugs back*
