a week or so later Alec bounced his way through the clinic, offering a flirty grin and wave to the nurses at the desk on his way by. He knew them all. Hell he knew a great many of the hospital employees in a path from the ICU to House's office to the clinic. His own lack of terror in this hospital.

He zipped up the stairs with Jinx on his heels and then swung into House's office with a grin. "Yo!"

Peter turned around at the sound of the voice from his perch. Looking the kid over for a moment, he just leaned back and let House do the talking. Astrid had taken Walter down to the cafeteria to get him something to eat, while he waited for Alec to show. He had to admit, he was more than a little curious as to what this kid was like -- and how he would get along with his father.

House looked up with a smirk, before nodding towards the man sitting across from him. "Peter, Alec. Alec, this is Peter Bishop."

Alec had expected Peter to be there and looked him over. Sharp but not impatient was the first impression. He has expect Peter to be sharp though. House said they were friends. Actual friends. Which meant Peter had to have the brains to keep up with House.

He nodded once at the introduction, but stayed out of arms reach and didn't offer a hand to shake. Alec never offered a hand, social graces be damned. "Thanks for coming to meet me."

Jinx moved to stand partially in front of Alec and gave Peter the same sharp and close inspection he gave everone who would be spending time with his master.

"Least I could do." Peter said with a nod, before gesturing over to the chair next to him. "Besides, if House is coming to ask me for a favor, it's bound to at least be interesting."
